In Islam, the way we honor our deceased is a reflection of our faith and our respect for the individual’s life. Ensuring that every Muslim has a dignified burial is not just a cultural practice, but a religious obligation.

The Garden of Eden charity has been established to provide the first purpose built burial facility in the south west to meet the needs of the growing Muslim communities in Devon and the wider region. It is a response to a pressing need that demands attention. The Trustees have usefully shone a light on the practical challenges facing the community and it is a most welcome and timely intervention.
